The Girl Scout Cookie Program began over 70 years ago when girls and leaders baked cookies to pay for their program and camp activities. The rest is history!
There’s a lot more to the cookie sale program than Thin Mints and Samoas. Girls set goals, practice business and marketing skills and learn money management, budgeting and planning, all while learning the importance of teamwork.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program nationally generates more than fifty percent of the revenue necessary to provide the Girl Scout program in troop and council sponsored programs and services. All profits stay locally to support the girls in your community.
You can learn more about Girl Scout cookies at the newly redesigned Little Brownie Bakers site, where you’ll find features and resources for girl and volunteer success, including dozens of downloadable and printable recipes, crafts, party ideas, clip art, even trainings to go.
