Gifts may include real estate, stock, equipment or services. Financial support can be directed toward general program support or for a specific purpose. Here are some examples of options for a financial gift: ALUMNI WANTED ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN & FAMILY PARTNERSHIP Gifts from friends and members support program development and provide services and supplies for leaders and volunteers. Camperships and financial support are also provided to ensure that all girls may participate in events, activities and as members. A gift may be made in tribute or in memorial to an individual. UNITED WAY Contributions through payroll deduction or direct gifts to United Way can be designated to support Girl Scout programs and activities in local communities. CORPORATE/ORGANIZATION PARTNERSHIPS Gifts that underwrite special programs in financial literacy, math and science, sports, environmental education and the arts. JULIETTE GORDON LOW BEQUEST SOCIETY allows friends to extend their interest in Girl Scouting into the future, by providing financial resources that will guarantee the perpetuity of Girl Scouting in the Monterey Bay area. There are four ways to hold membership in the Juliette Gordon Low Bequest Society.
ENDOWMENTS may be made either through the Council or to the Girl Scout Endowment Fund of the Community Foundation of Monterey County or through the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County. |
